Abu Dhabi has spent two decades commissioning some of the world's most talked-about architects, and Saadiyat Island is where much of it stands. The morning begins at the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Jean Nouvel's museum town under a floating lattice dome that scatters light like sun through palm fronds, with two hours for the building's waterfront and, with a ticket, the galleries and the plaza beneath the dome.
Close by is the Abrahamic Family House: a mosque, a church and a synagogue by David Adjaye, three pale volumes sharing one garden. Lunch is near the Etihad Towers, where the observation deck on the seventy-fourth floor looks down the Corniche, and the afternoon is a drive through Yas Island past its race circuit and the red sweep of Ferrari World's roof.

It closes on Mondays. On a Monday we move the weight of the day to the Abrahamic Family House, the Etihad Towers and Yas Island.
Can we change the order or add a stop?
