- Beyond sixty days a programme refunds in full to the original payment method. From thirty-one to sixty days, 75%. From fifteen to thirty days, 50%.
- Inside fourteen days a programme is charged in full, because rooms and inter-city cars are already committed. Over Christmas, New Year and Eid that becomes sixty days, because the rooms themselves are bought non-refundable.
- If we cancel (weather, an authority closure, a vehicle problem), you choose a full refund or a free re-book, and you get the reason in writing. Partner-operated activities are held to the same standard.
- If we cannot reach you within 45 minutes of the pickup time on the day, the booking is treated as a no-show and charged. Keep WhatsApp reachable on travel day and this never happens.

Guide notes for this programme
- Do the gold souk early in the day, before the tour groups land. The morning light in the old lanes is better for photographs too.
- Haggling in the souks is expected sport: counter low, smile, and be willing to walk away. Walking away is usually when the real price appears.
- Carry small cash for the abra and the souks; almost everywhere else in Dubai prefers card.
- At the observation deck, arrive at the start of your slot and stay through to dusk. Daylight, sunset and the city lighting up are three different views for one ticket.
- Prone to motion sickness? Take the front seat for the dune drive and eat light at lunch. The dunes are kinder from the front.

What is included, and what will cost extra on the ground?
All transfers, the listed entries and observation-deck admission, the desert evening and the scheduled dinners are included. Extras are personal: shopping, drinks, spa time and optional desert add-ons such as quad biking through our partner operators. You get the full inclusion list in writing before you pay anything.
Can we get a sunset slot at the observation deck?
That is what we aim for, and it is why booking early matters: sunset slots are the first to sell out, in every season. Confirm your dates promptly and we lock the slot when we build your itinerary. If sunset is genuinely unavailable, we will tell you before you book, not after.
Is there a dress code anywhere on this itinerary?
Dubai is relaxed, and no venue on the standard itinerary imposes strict rules. In the old town and the souks, shoulders-and-knees-covered is respectful and keeps you comfortable rather than being formally required. Evening restaurants sit at smart-casual; if we book anywhere stricter, we will warn you.
How much walking is involved? One of us has limited mobility.
The car takes you door to door, so the walking is concentrated in the old town lanes and the souks, which are flat but can be busy and uneven in places. Most of the itinerary adapts well to limited mobility, and the desert camp can usually accommodate too. Tell us the specifics at booking and we will reshape the route honestly, including what to skip.
Is alcohol available at the dinners?
Only licensed venues serve alcohol in the UAE. Several of the restaurants used on this itinerary are licensed, and where yours are, drinks are available at your own cost; the desert camp is typically not licensed, so expect that evening to be dry. Ask us and we will confirm venue by venue.
Does three days work in the summer heat?
Yes, because the itinerary already follows the shade: souks and outdoor walking in the mornings, indoor attractions through midday, and the desert only after the day cools. The car is air-conditioned door to door. July and August are hot by any standard, but this shape of trip is how residents handle them.
