- Beyond sixty days a programme refunds in full to the original payment method. From thirty-one to sixty days, 75%. From fifteen to thirty days, 50%.
- Inside fourteen days a programme is charged in full, because rooms and inter-city cars are already committed. Over Christmas, New Year and Eid that becomes sixty days, because the rooms themselves are bought non-refundable.
- If we cancel (weather, an authority closure, a vehicle problem), you choose a full refund or a free re-book, and you get the reason in writing. Partner-operated activities are held to the same standard.
- If we cannot reach you within 45 minutes of the pickup time on the day, the booking is treated as a no-show and charged. Keep WhatsApp reachable on travel day and this never happens.

Guide notes for this programme
- Book iftar tables as early as you can: the best hotel tents and rooftop settings sell out fast, especially at weekends.
- Flip your body clock to the city's: slow morning, afternoon rest, then live at night like everyone else does.
- See the Grand Mosque twice if you can: quiet by day, lit and humming by night. They are different buildings.
- Listen for the iftar cannon at sunset in Abu Dhabi: position yourself near the corniche around Maghrib and you will hear it land.
- Keep water in the car and drink there rather than on the pavement: a small courtesy that costs you nothing.

Can non-Muslims eat and drink during the day?
Yes. Visitors are not expected to fast. Hotels and many restaurants serve throughout daylight hours, some behind screens, and we build lunch stops into every day. Eating or drinking openly in the street is best avoided as a courtesy, and it is fine in the privacy of your vehicle.
When exactly is Ramadan?
It moves about eleven days earlier each year, and the precise start is confirmed by moon sighting shortly beforehand. We plan around the projected dates and adjust once they are confirmed; the itinerary is built to absorb a day's shift either way.
Is Ramadan actually a good time to visit?
Honestly, it depends what you want. Days are quieter and some attractions run shorter hours, so a full-throttle first trip may suit another month. But if you want atmosphere (lantern-lit markets, iftar tables, the mosque at night), there is nothing else like it in the calendar.
What should we wear?
Dress a notch more modestly than usual: shoulders and knees covered is a safe rule everywhere during the holy month. The Grand Mosque applies its normal code regardless of season: loose, covering clothing, headscarves for women, and abayas can be borrowed on site.
Is alcohol available during Ramadan?
Licensed venues set their own hours in the season, and many continue to serve in the evenings. Nothing is served in public spaces at any time of year. We will point you to venues that suit how you want your evenings to run.
Do attractions close during Ramadan?
Very few close outright, but most adjust: typically shorter daytime hours and livelier, later evenings. We reconfirm timings each morning before setting out, so you never arrive at a shut door.
